CareHub

Your information

Delete your information

You can delete some of what CareHub holds about you, or all of it and your account with it. You don't need to sign in to ask — this page works even if you've lost access to your phone.

Do it yourself, right now

If you can still sign in, most of this is in your hands already:

  • Stop sharing your location — in the app, open Where I am and turn it off. That stops it immediately.
  • Delete a document, contact, or anything you've added — open it and choose Delete.
  • Leave a family — open This family and choose Leave. You keep your account.

Use the form below for anything that isn't on that list — including erasing the location history behind the switch, and closing your account entirely.

Ask us to delete it

Tell us what to remove and the email address you use for CareHub. We'll write to that address to check it's really you, then delete it and confirm when it's done. We aim to finish within 30 days.

What each choice removes

My location information
Sharing is switched off and the last position we hold for you is erased. CareHub keeps no location trail — only the most recent point, and only while you have sharing on — so after this there is nothing left to show anyone.
My health information
Your health record — conditions, medications, immunisations, care team — and your Emergency Card, along with the permissions that let your family see them.
My whole account
Everything above, your sign-in, your membership of every family, and anything recorded about you as a person. Your family's shared records stay with the family — see below.

What doesn't go, and why

CareHub is shared by a family, so some of what you can see was never only yours.

  • Your family's records stay with your family. A document your sister scanned of your mother's insurance belongs to the household, not to your account. If you added something and want it gone, delete it in the app before you close your account, or say so in the note above.
  • A family must keep an owner. If you're the only owner of a family, tell us what you'd like to happen to it — hand it to someone else, or delete it — and we'll do that as part of your request.
  • Some records we have to keep. Billing and tax records, and the log of who was given or refused access to what, are kept for as long as the law requires. They hold no health information.

Questions about any of this are welcome at hello@care-hub.app. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
